Return & Warranty


Returning items the easy way 

You can return items from your order that don’t fit properly or if you are not completely satisfied within 14 days.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have a cooling off period of 14 working days from the day after delivery of goods. This is an unconditional right to cancel the contract/order for these items.You must inform us by telephoning 01379 844 888 or emailing quoting your order number and stating your intention to cancel your order.

The customer is responsible for the condition and safekeeping of all goods until collected by us, or, if the customer returns the item to us by their own chosen means, until it reaches us.


In case you would like to have the returned item exchanged, please address this on your returns note, we will send you the new product within 10 working days.

We are liable for defects of new products for the period of three years in line with the implied warranty. For further information we refer to our General Terms and Conditions.

Concerning the functionality of Sheltex ® PRO and Sheltex ® Performance membrane we grant a warranty of 5 years (except for boots and gloves).

If you notice a defect within this period of time, you can either return it in your nearest Hein Gericke store or return it by mail.

Please don’t forget to include your invoice and return note to your package, giving a short description of the defect. This information will help us to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.

Our colleagues handling the returns will contact you as soon as your return arrives.

In case the membrane of your Sheltex® Pro or Sheltex® Performance-Gear is damaged, we will forward your product to the professional hands of the Sheltex® production company, for professional repair.
